We have had an active week

This week we have been showing our classmates our shadow animals.

 

We also had Michael Swanney in to show us how to do the class moves programme in our class PE - We demonstrated the different ways to run. 

 

 We have to remember our space bubbles for next week.

We had a game of sleeping lions to cool down.

Museum Visit

The highlight of our week was the museum visit.

We all enjoyed our tour around.

And found out a lot of information.

We found out why some artefacts have to be displayed in cabinets.

We learnt a lot more about the history of Stromness and Orkney.

The turtle was enormous.

We are now ready to set up our own class museum.

We have been learning about different ways to throw.

We have been making animals out of cubes in problem solving, we found that when the body
was an even number of cubes the legs were exactly half the number of cubes.

 In our reading groups we
we spilt ourselves up into the summariser, illustrator and word finder to re-tell our the story in our reading books.

We did a fantastic job of re-telling the stories in our words.
