Primary 1 parents are still welcome to come into primary 1 at 12.00 tomorrow.  There is a change of plan, we have been so busy this week and had lots of people off that we haven't managed to finish our books yet.  However Primary 1 thought you may like to come and see Popcorn's holiday photos.  Hopefully we will see you tomorrow.

World book day is next Thursday, 1st March.  We are encouraging children to bring in their favourite book that day and come dressed as a character they like (Staff will be joining in too).  So Keep a look out for some photos of our class.

Help! Popcorn has gone missing!  We will be using this for our class writing for the next 2 weeks.  Primary 1 will use 'amazing adjectives' to make missing person posters, write a letter to Popcorn and then we will tell the story of his adventure (after we interview him).  Each child can turn their adventure story into a book and practise reading it to a friend.  On Friday 2nd of March family members are welcome to come in before lunch to hear the stories.

We have been enjoying learning about eyes and glasses.  In class we have an optician's office and have been making sure our eyes are healthy.  Look how much fun we've had by having a look at our slideshow.  The class have been trying on glasses and making our own funky designs.
Also, we think we have had a visitor because they have left these giant glasses behind! Primary 1 have used their imaginations and amazing describing words to invent a character for these glasses.
Hello Primary 1 families!
Well this is me up and running now, very proud of myself for learning how to do this :) I will add some information about the work we are doing in primary 1 and add photographs too.
