Primary 4's did themselves proud on Friday morning by leading the school assembly. We took this opportunity to share some of the things we have learnt in our topic this term, the Ancient Egyptians, with our audience.
Our assembly took the audience back in time, 3000 years ago to the time of King Tutankhamen, the 'Boy King' who became Pharaoh at the age of only 9 years old! We followed his life, the Gods he believed in, his death and mummification and the famous discovery of his tomb in 1922.
We ended our assembly with a quiz to check how closely our audience had been listening - and as it turned out, they must have been listening very well indeed as they got 5/5!!
A special thank you to all the family members in the audience for taking the time to come and see our assembly.
Well done Primary 4!
